From my perspective, Christian women are not fulfilling their purpose as followers of Christ. We live in a society where many women experience overwhelming situations that lead to lack of confidence, low self-esteem, depression, drug abuse, single motherhood, and a lack of their purpose as a woman overall.

My passion is to not only minister to the unsaved, but to help the women of God reach their full potential. We are not called to be another woman sitting cute in a chair (at church or work), but we should be better mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, wives, neighbors, strangers, mentors, co-workers, employees, and leaders in our community. We should be able to read, learn, and apply the Word of God to our lives daily. We should be doing more than just listening to someone else preach the Word of God. Over time, we should desire to use our gifts to minister and assist with someone else’s development at work, home, and school.

The Lord’s vision for me is to do more than lead women to Christ; the goal is to help women live a virtuous life for Him, and to be a witness for the lost and other Christian women. So, how do we do this?

We do this through Women’s Ministry. Please understand, Women’s Ministry doesn’t happen only in a building to discuss God’s Word and share tears together. Women’s Ministry is not even something that needs a title or group. Women’s Ministry starts when a woman of God chooses to follow Jesus and brings a few sisters along to meet Him as well. Women’s Ministry is the desire to learn and live by God’s Word, and then become a true disciple by growing, loving, and sharing your growth to help others grow. It is an experience which allows all women to grow in Christ, to live better lives, to think better about themselves, and to love other women, instead of being jealous or envious because they do not recognize the power inside of them.

Women’s Ministry is an experience that all women need but is not happening enough. Women’s Ministry should be a mentorship, a sisterhood, and an unlimited powerful tool if you would accept your gifts and share them with the world. Choose to join the Women’s Ministry for Christ and start discipling other women!
