Deliberately Me!

A journey for those seeking contentment in a deliberate God

Help is a Prayer

Help is a Prayer

In recent times, my prayers have started with and ended with one word. Help.

I have been so emotionally and mentally overwhelmed with life. Yes, life has been challenging to the point that sometimes the only word I can utter is Help.

This blog for March is to remind us that our Father does not move based on the quantity of our words, but the sincerity of our heart.

Have you ever been so shaken, drained, overwhelmed, or devastated that your ability to pray seemed impossible.

Your circumstance has you tongue-tied with grief and pain.

Your mind is filled with anxiety and stress weighing heavy on your heart.

Your body is riddled with exhaustion carried from the prior week’s challenges.

Well…I send this word that you need only to call upon The Almighty, The Beginning and The End, El Shaddai, The Maker of Heaven and Earth.

Call on Him by any means necessary.

Maybe your word is not Help, but maybe the phrase is RIGHT NOW LORD!

Maybe your phrase is Deliver Me!

Maybe your phase is Restore Me!

Maybe your phrase is Cure Me!

Maybe your phrase is HELP ME!

Maybe your phrase is COVER ME!

Maybe your phrase is SPEAK LORD!

Maybe your phrase is JESUS!

Whatever your needs are for the month of March. Remember it is not the quantity of your words, but the sincerity of your heart.

Our Lord of Lords has promised to be with us everywhere we go. He has declared to be close to the brokenhearted and comfort those in their time of need. He has said, “The righteous person may have many troubles, but He will deliver him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken (Psalm 34:19-20 NIV).”

Help is a Prayer

Psalm 121 (NIV)

A song of ascents.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
    where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
    he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.
