Deliberately Me!

A journey for those seeking contentment in a deliberate God

He Has Not Forgotten

Sooo I am few days late posting because days got away from me, but I want to remain faithful to sending some encouragement, but also sharing what the Lord continues to do.

Earlier this week, a colleague reached out to check on me. This person said, “Hey, I was recently promoted and wanted to see how you are doing. There may be some opportunities.”

My response was, “Well, congratulations on your promotion, and I have news. I got a new role too.”

Fast forward to the moment. The moment where I was reminded what the Lord told me in January.

Sometimes in our personal and professional life, we will experience feeling rejected or what I felt.

I felt forgotten about.

And while I know I have felt that way before, it was uncomfortable and an emotional feeling that I did not like.

But the Lord told me others may have forgotten about you, but I have not.

Remember Joseph was forgotten about in the prison.
Remember Hagar being casted out.
Remember the woman who bled for 12 years.
Remember your own story of people rejecting or just moving on without you.

It’s hurtful, right?

But this week I was reminded again that God never forgets.

We might lose track of something.
We tend to forget names and places.
We eventually get to a point that writing everything down is vital to how we operate.

But not the sovereign Lord.

He cannot.
He will not.
He does not.

He Has Not Forgotten You!

You are too important to Him.
You are too important to those around you.
You are more valuable than rubies.

So if you’re feeling left out, rejected, or forgotten,

Get in your Word and remember whose you are.

You are His, and He never forgets or leaves what belongs to Him.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
